The first challenge of the Wënzerverband, Fédération des Associations Viticoles de la Moselle Luxembourgeoise, founded in 1911, was to bring together around 30 local winegrowing associations to create a single representative structure for the sector and organize joint marketing activities for Luxembourg wines. In 2003, the association recognized the opportunity for itself and the region to bring a European funding and development instrument to the Moselle region through the LEADER program. This was the starting point for regional development. Today, the association is the house of regional development with LEADER Miselerland, Terroir Moselle, EOM and the regional products shop, 100% Luxembourg.
